I don't usually have resolutions, but I do think the new year is always an opportunity to start fresh, wipe the slate clean and reflect on one's self. A family sickness this december really showed me how incredibly strong and supportive my family is. And, while I was flying home from being with them this week, I realized how I could do a lot more to nuture those relationships. All of us have a support system, and most of mine is spread throughout the country. So, I take it back, I do have one resolution, which is to take the time to keep in touch with those close to me. Happy New Year!
