Back in town from a lovely getaway in Taos, I'm in full swing designing for our late summer wedding clients. For those of you with fall weddings, now is the time to set up your custom invitation consultation for your upcoming wedding. The process of designing custom invitations can set the tone for the entire look of your event. Of course, you've already been pouring over bridal blogs and know what type of look you are drawn to. Working with a custom stationer can help you place those ideas onto paper and truly communicate your combined styles into one cohesive invitation suite, perfectly setting the tone of your wedding.
It's really quite simple and fun- you come into our Chicago studio and have a conversation. (out of towners, don't despair, this can work over the phone, too!) Here's where we start getting to know you a bit, what your style is, where the wedding will be, what colors you are using. But then there's more- maybe you are fun and colorful and want the invitation to communicate this. Or, you're a traditional bride and want a classic invitation. Or, you're all about easy elegance. Whatever your style is, our specialty is listening, and we have the knack to really get a sense for who you are and communicate this throughout all your paper needs for your wedding. We then provide you with a proposal, which breaks down the costs for design and printing. If you decide to work with us, you send in your deposit. That's when we get to work, designing up to three different options for you to choose from.
From there, we go with one option, and work on it until you're satisfied. Our printers help us deliver the best possible product on your choice of cotton papers. The finished invitations are a true representation of you and your upcoming event, ready to be shared with your guests!
