This month, I've been a little quiet on the blog and facebook, as I take the time to reflect, organize and renew. December is my birthday month, and as the new year approaches, what better time do this restructing-not only in my head, but in the office too. We had a shift over at 3717 North Ravenswood, as our long-time suite mate Estera moved on to a new phase of their business, and Nimble Well moved in. This prompted an organizing, removal of what's not needed, purging sort of free for all in the office, and the place has never looked better. Moments spent preparing the office for the new year included sewing little ties to the new linen curtains I purchased for the space. Sewing is such a quiet task, and as the busy-ness of work and the season swirls around me, it was such satisfying work to sit at my dining room table and sew for a bit. Not only to think without distraction, but to know the result of the task would brighten and refresh our space, much like the action of internal purging - the work produces a greater result.
