Bring this to your barbeque today instead of a six pack of beer. It's a refreshing cocktail that it filled with summer scents and holiday color. Seth helped me create this for our annual block party cocktail contest last week, and it came in 1st place. If you make it right in the mason jar, use the measurement lines on the side for your parts. One part also equals 1 ounce, so if you're planning on making one or two cocktails, this recipe works: Watermelon Fizz cube watermelon and place on a cookie sheet in the freezer for at least one hour Two parts Gin One part lemon juice 3/4 parts simple syrup 4 parts soda water Loads of fresh mint Muddle your fresh mint in the gin. Combine remaining ingredients together, leaving plenty of room for the watermelon ice cubes at the end. Refrigerate in the mason jar for at least an hour, and enjoy!
